Strategic Counsel

Outside General Counsel

You need a general counsel’s judgment on a weekly basis, not a full-time salary.

Value Acceleration and Exit Planning

You want the business to be worth more in three years, whether or not you sell it.

  • Finance and investment readiness
  • Operating model and organizational capability

Enterprise Risk and Intelligence

You operate across the US-Mexico border, or plan to, and need to see risk before it reaches you.

Compliance, market intelligence and on-the-ground capability for companies doing business in Mexico and Latin America. From regulatory exposure in cross-border transactions to establishing an operation with the right partners, people and protections.

  • Cross-border compliance and regulatory issues
  • Supply chain sourcing, vetting and security

Questions

Questions about the services

What areas do the services cover?

Five groups: Startup Essentials, Growth Navigation, Transition Planning, Transaction Advisory, and Enterprise Risk and Intelligence. They sit under the four practice areas: Outside General Counsel, M&A and Capital Transactions, Value Acceleration and Exit Planning, and Enterprise Risk and Intelligence.

Are these templates, or do you draft and review for us?

Both, depending on the entry. Some are templates, such as the Employee Handbook Template; some are reviews, such as Legal Review of Contracts; and some are guidance, such as Business License Application Guidance. Tell us what you are working on and we will say which form fits.

Is registered-agent service included in every engagement?

No. Registered Agent Service is listed as applicable only in some cases. Whether it applies to you, and who provides it in your state, is confirmed when we scope the engagement.

How are engagements priced?

Not by the hour. Work is set up on a monthly or project basis, agreed in advance, so the time goes where it is useful rather than where it is billable.

Ask about scope, who provides it and whether it applies to you.
